You sure snuck up on me all sneaky like. Does anyone else feel like this year is already flying by REALLY fast? I'm not complaining though..there have been a few days/weeks that I was happy to see fly right on by. Then there were days that I wish would have just slowed down to a crawl.

For example, we took a little weekend trip to the mountains for my birthday. It was heavenly. We were originally going to be doing a photo shoot with a lovely family, but, the weather wasn't suitable for what we had in mind. Since we already had reservations at a cute little chalet we decided to go ahead and take the girls and make it a birthday celebration. The five of us together, some snow and no computers/emails/phone calls. It was SO blissful. We took the time to just enjoy each other's company and spend some good quality time together. We got to play in some snow and walk through Helen in the flurries. It was so cold but we got to snuggle in front of the fire and cuddle. We ate way too much but it was worth every calorie lol! I wanted those days to slow down. I wanted to stop time and live in those moments for as long as possible. Watching the girls catch snowflakes. Throwing snowballs at each other and squealing with delight. Taking in the beautiful mountain tops covered in snow. I didn't want those moments to end. Ever. It was such a wonderful way to spend my birthday weekend and I got to do it with my favorite people in the world.

My hubby and the girls surprised me with a birthday gift that I have been wanting for forever!

I can't wait to try it out. I have been wanting an easier way to print my iphone photos - my computer and printer just weren't cutting it anymore. I had to try to resize in a program that is older than the dinosaurs. It was a pain in the ass. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this makes project life ten times easier!

I also wanted to share some fun scrappy news. I have been asked to join the Basic Grey Design Team!! Excited doesn't even cover it. I have wanted to work with Basic Grey since I started scrapbooking back in 2005! Dream come true for sure!

I am also the guest designer over at Cocoa Daisy this month using their gorgeous March kit! Definitely go take a peek - this kit and the add ons are just amazing. I love the colors and all of the amazing goodies! Here is what I created with it:
