We have been bombarded with a yucky virus here at the Warren residence - so I do apologize for my delay in posting the Studio Calico Trendsetter Blog Hop winner!

Zorrotte - if you will please send me your information I will get Studio Calico to send you your $5 gift certificate! Congratulations!!!
So, we were headed out Friday for an impromptu, spur of the moment camping trip to the mountains...it was crazy trying to go so last minute, but, we did it by God! At about 4am Saturday Hailey woke me up (in a hammock in the middle of the woods, mind you!!) to tell me she didn't feel right. Uh oh. We pulled her out of her hammock and she was burning up with a fever. Rushed her to the bathrooms and well...she was definitely sick. My poor baby!! I gave her some medicine for the fever and nausea (I always bring a first aid kit lol!!) and got her back to sleep until we had light to pack up and leave. That was the first illness we had to deal with during a camping trip. She was a trooper though and we made it home without any incidents.
This stupid virus has been plaguing us for a couple of weeks now - first Addison had it, then I had it. We thought we were good since it had been over a week and noone else was sick. Apparently a quick trip to Wal-Mart brought the virus home again. Yuck! We haven't been sick with something like that since we started homeschooling!
Speaking of homeschooling - we only have a couple of weeks left of summer. Unbelievable! I've been working on getting the classroom back in order, getting computers for Jill and Addison (we will be using a new program this year, so, no more DVDs!!) and stocking up on school supplies. I love this time of year because it means I can get crayons for $.25 and paper for $.18! I always buy a ton to have on hand all year long. I just can't believe summer vacation is almost over. We were just planning our vacation in the mountains. And now? Now we are buying school supplies and registering them for a new homeschooling program (which, btw, has been a nightmare, ugh!!!)
So anyhoo, now that I have rambled on for a couple of paragraphs, how about I share some photos and layouts? lol!! Oh, and let me just say thank you to all of those who still stop in and read and comment. I know I am not the best blogger in the world and I am often more quiet than not, so, seriously, you're all awesome and I appreciate it.
I am the guest designer over at Lily Bee this month and I am so incredibly excited to be working with their lovely products! Here are two of my projects that have gone up over on the blog:
I also want to share some recent Two Peas Garden Girl work that is up in the Garden:
Alrighty, I'm off. Lots of work to do and more organizing to tackle. I've been on a major clean out/organize kick the past few days. I am determined to ease the chaos of this house lol!!! Fun! Have a beautiful day my friends!
xoxo
Looks like a great class! Thanks for a chance to win!
