that a photographer would end up with a daughter who loaths the camera?
In case you couldn't tell, she was essentially telling me off. Lots of "no, no" when I would ask if I could please take her picture. I begged. I attempted to bribe her - all to no avail. She wouldn't budge. The best shot I got was the first one. God I love her.
We are attempting to potty train - I bought a box of Huggies Saturday and even with my coupons I paid $14.00 for a mere 62 diapers. She's been showing signs of being ready for a little while now - she won't keep a diaper on if it's wet, at all. Even if she wets it once - off it goes. She will go to her potty on her own and then come to tell me and get high fives. So she's ready - it's just up to me to be concise and keep her motivated to go to the potty.
And on a completely different topic, we leave for our summer mountain vacation in 13 days. We are all crawling the walls, ready to go. We are staying for a full 7 days this time - I am so psyched. We have plans on more exploring and hiking - it's one of our favorite things to do - go hunting for waterfalls. It's just magic there - there isn't any other way to explain it.
The girls have 9 days of school left - this year has flown by. Hailey's teacher told me she's going to really miss her - Hailey was tickled. She's also been recommended for the Gifted program at the school - I thought I was going to burst I was so proud of her. I told her she was much smarter than her mama ever was ;o) She was also invited to math camp this summer - something those with an A average were invited to do - she is super excited about that. And seriously there is no way to put into words how it feels to watch your child excel in something. I am just so proud of her and so proud of Jillian and all that they have accomplished this year!!
In scrapping news, I was invited to join the Pink Paislee Team!! I nearly fell out of my chair when I read the email! I love their products and I am so excited to be a part of this amazingly talented team!
So, how was that for a random post? LOL!! Here's more randomness, another favorite from a Marcus & Christina's wedding - this shot wasn't set up either - it was one of those things that just happened. He was peeking out to look at her, not knowing he was in my shot and I snapped it!
Until next time....
