A whole friggin' week people. A. Week. I suck!! I promise I put "write blog post" on my to do list every single day...and then...well, the to do list got so huge that the ol' blog here fell to the wayside. CHA is always nuts, always. But, Fed Ex and shipping was what had me pulling my hair out this time! Ugh! Talk about crazy times. I've never had such a miserable time trying to get projects out! Anyway.
So, let's play catch up. Last week I booked our 7 day summer vacation in the mountains. I am now counting down the days. 121 days to be exaxt. Then, we will be in the mountains, sipping coffee on the back deck looking at this view:
Just thinking about being up there puts a huge smile on my face. It makes me giddy! And honestly, it's all about being happy, right? Living each day to the fullest, being happy, being ok. I struggle remembering how important that is...to just focus on the happy - not the crazy schedules, the cluttered house, the laundry. Just, being happy. Because at the end of it all, it doesn't matter if the laundry wasn't done, that the house wasn't spotless every. single. day. It doesn't matter how much money you made, what kind of car you drove...all that matters is that you lived. Really lived. I don't know about you, but I don't see myself, on my deathbed saying "man, I never bought that Porsche." I mean, come on! lol! I want to have memories - stories to tell. I want to laugh at the crazy situations we tend to get ourselves into. I want to just enjoy it all. As you can tell, I've been thinking again...and when I'm thinking I ramble. Just ask my poor husband lol!
I have been scrapping like a mad woman too - I have loved, LOVED playing with the new goodies from Crate (I'll share those soon!!) I wanted to share the full layout that I shared a sneak of last week for the Garden at Two Peas:

I am now addicted to Syfy's Being Human. O.M.G. How have I NOT been watching this?!?! It's so freaking awesome and hilarious! The hubs loves it too - we watched the entire first season on Netflix and now we are anxiously waiting for 9pm to roll around to watch the newest episode! Yeah...I'm a dork. I absolutley love, love, love all of your layouts and projects. The photos you use are amazing and beautiful.
Do you use photo shop elements on a Mac? What printer do you use for your photos or do you send them away to get printed?

Jody - I use CS5 on a regular old PC :) I use an HP 900 printer and just print them smaller and trim them leaving the white border :) Thanks for such nice words about my work!!! ♥
