Hey everybody!  Welcome to the Garden Girl Digest - a monthly update where each Garden Girl will share projects, sneaks, favorite product, etc.!  I'm so looking forward to browsing all of the blogs and seeing what my fellow Garden Girls will be sharing and recommending!

I have been putting my Silhouette Cameo to  work!  I love that thing!  And yes, that's more Crate Paper's Paper Heart.  I might be slightly addicted to it lol!!! 

So, a few things and someone!!! who has been inspiring me...

The sneaks are rolling in and other randomness...

I am seriously over the moon about all of the new collections debuting right now!!  I'm getting the itch to go scrap shopping in a major way lol!!! I love CHA time, so full of anticipation and gorgeous new product.  As usual Crate Paper has blown me away.  First with their Storyteller collection and now with their Pretty Party Collection:

Isn't it gorgeous!  I love the soft color and the embellishments, just perfect!!  Lisa always does an amazing job, always!

I love the sneak of Trims that Webster's Pages posted the other day:

The new products are absolutely beautiful - I can't wait for all of you to see them! 

A few random things I'm loving right now:

Currently trying to plan a fun field trip for the girls....we desperately need to get out of the house for something other than the dentist/ortho/grocery shopping lol!!  This is one of the main reasons why I want to move to North Georgia.  There are so many hiking trails...we would love nothing more than to wake up one morning and hit a trail and explore.  *sigh*  One day...one day we will be there.  One day we will call it home.  It's where we are meant to be ♥

A shiny new blog...

All thanks to my amazing and incredibly talented friend Wendy Hammer!! She is seriously amazing!!  She asked me a few questions and viola - she totally hit the nail on the head with the design, I ♥ it!  I also decided to change the name of my ol' blog to 3*2*5...I love numbers (not necessarily math, mind you lol!!) but just...numbers.  The 3 represents my 3 girls, the 2 represents me and my hubs and the 5 represents our family of five. Just a fun little play on numbers :)

So yesterday my first Webster's Pages layout went live on the blog!  I was excited and nervous...I love their new lines - such a great mix of patterns and colors. 

I also wanted to share my layouts that went up on the Crate Paper Blog last week:

And I've been thinking (yes, you need to be scared)....I don't really "talk" enough on here.  I ramble, sure.  But I feel like I never share enough.  So, if at some point, the thought pops into your head "hey...that Jaime chick should discuss ______" shoot me an email or leave a comment.  We'll chat it out.  In the mean time I'm going to leave you with 5 totally random things about myself (and I encourage you to join in and post 5 random things about yourself too!!)

* I love popcorn with hot sauce on it.  A LOT of hot sauce.  Especially the Lime & Salt popcorn.

*  I call people stupid a lot.  NOT in a mean way, not at all.  It usually occurs when someone has said something super funny and I'm laughing so hard I can barely speak...I'll snort and say "you're...so...stupid...." in between breaths.

*  I tell people I'm going to shank/punch/gank them.  A. lot.  Usually funny.  Sometimes, on the road, when someone cuts me off, not so funny.

*  I read...a lot.  I will finish a book in 3-4 hours if I have the time to.  I just can't put books down once I start.

*  I'm slightly OCD about cleaning my house.  It used to be MUCH worse than it is now.  I used to vacuum like 4 times a day.  These days?  I just don't have the time or energy...much to the relief of my husband and children.  I get it from my mom....she'd wake me up bright and early every weekend morning running the vacuum or dusting my room.  Used to drive me bonkers.  Now I do it to my kids....*insert evil laughter here*

* I know, I know...I said 5.  But...one more couldn't hurt...I say "so" a lot when I'm typing/talking.  It's annoying for everyone involved.  So...anyway...

Alright...so that was my 5 random facts....now for yours! ;)

Another HUGE thank you to Wendy Hammer for her awesome skills...I have wanted a "cool" "put together" blog for forever and never could figure it out (I'm more than just a little tech challenged.) I ♥ ya girl!!

Woke Up Late.....

It's been one of those days, you know the kind.  Wake up late and then feel like you're totally behind the rest of the day.  Ugh!  I hate that feeling, ya' know?   So I have been struggling (at least in my brain) to catch up with my day.  Editing, laundry, more editing, more laundry, dishes, schooling, more editing...you get the point lol!  In between all of that we've been conducting little mini science experiments (does water expand when you freeze it? why yes, yes it does!) and chatting about random things that the girls come up with.

I also wanted to share something else I am REALLY excited about:

A very special Shimmerz Valentine's Set.  I honestly can't say enough good things about Shimmerz products.  I am a member of the team because I believe and LOVE the product.  Fantastic, bold color and high shine and sparkle.  I have yet to come across products like these.  Their mists, embossing powders and other products are just amazing.  The Pearlz Powder Puff is a brand new color too - and it is stunning.  Don't miss out on this special set...it's perfect for Valentine's layouts and projects!!

Well, hey Tuesday...when did you get here?

I sware it's still Monday...seriously, it FLEW by.  We had Addison's dentist appointment for her cleaning (which went really well thank goodness!!)  Then, a quick trip to Target and Wal-Mart, packed up a few more scrap goodie boxes and viola, the day is gone.  Whaaat!?  My month off is really flying by!

So, in exciting scrappy news, I made the Crate Paper design team for another term...I'm SO excited.  I absolutely love this team and I'm happy that they asked me to stay on.  They also added some new amazing designers (a couple of which I have major scrap crushes on ;))

I also made the Webster's Pages Clean & Simple Design Team!!  I love their new Clean & Simple designs, so gorgeous!!!  I can't wait to create with the other fabulous ladies on the team! 

My new Silhouette Cameo arrived as well!!  I have been wanting one for forever and finally caved :)  So happy with it!!!  I have a couple of new layouts to share as well:

A Full Weekend....

We decided several months ago that I would take the entire month of January off from the photography business. It has turned out to be the best decision for us.  It gives me time to recharge and for the family to re-group.  I'm so happy to have a few weekends for family activity - we were really missing our family time!  This weekend we went with some friends to High Falls near Atlanta, GA.  It was a gorgeous day, perfect for hiking.  We had a picnic lunch and then hit the trails.  SO peaceful. 

We're planning to go back during the summer...I would love to see it in full bloom!

This girl:

Will be turning 5 next month...I seriously can't believe it...FIVE?!!!  She wants a princess birthday party (of course.)  She has also changed her mind and decided that instead of an American Girl McKenna doll she wants Lego Friends?!?!  I'm not sure about that though...something I'll have to really think about.  In the long run I think she'd be happier with the AG doll....

I have been purging and reorganizing my scrap room like crazy...I purged this:

Before I leave I wanted to share a couple of layouts from November that I never got the chance to share here on the ol' blog...both of these were for Shimmerz.  Speaking of Shimmerz, they will be having a very special new promotion coming up soon...I'll share details VERY soon ♥

I have to tell you, Shimmerz Enamelz are my absolute favorite embossing powders EVER.  I seriously love them.  High quality powders and they SHINE.

I'm baaack!

Whew!!!  I am back from our vacation...we had such a wonderful time.  It was truly hard to come home...I cried like a baby the morning we were leaving.  I am so ready to be up there for good, SO ready.  I know I have to be patient though...when the time is right it will happen.  I didn't take my "big" cameras..so all I have to share are my Instagram photos...honestly, it's just the easiest and safest way to take photos for us...after the hiking/hail storm incident and my Mark II I learned my lesson!!

We stayed at a lovely cabin nestled high in the mountains...it was SO quiet, we loved it.  It had a fireplace outside (which is where we spent a majority of our time!!)  It also had one inside which was lovely.  We hiked a new trail and there was SNOW!!  Talk about excited!!  I really didn't think we'd see any, but, we did!  Yay!  We visited one of our favorite falls as well.  We walked around Helen and took in the beauty of it all lit up for Christmas.  My sister and her husband and son joined us and it was so wonderful to share our favorite place with them.  We played Logo for the first time (SUPER fun!) and laughed hysterically.  We soaked in the hot tub...it was just...peaceful.  I love talking to Carrie...we get each other and she never thinks my ideas or take on things is strange.  It's comforting to be with her.  So, without further ado...the photos...

So, one of my New Years resolutions was to blog more...my blogging is SO sad lately lol!!  So, I'm going to TRY to blog more ;)  I want to share a few layouts too...I feel like I don't get on here and share nearly enough!!

Stopping In Real Quick...

to share a Technique Tuesday layout...but first..can you believe it's Christmas EVE??!!!  December flew by didn't it?!  We are headed out first thing Monday morning to the North Georgia mountains for our vacation...we can't wait!!!  I'm so excited it's nuts lol!!!  Can't wait to sit by the fire and play games..hop in the hot tub and relax and hike all day.  Right now the girls are barely able to contain their excitement about Santa coming tonight.  They are running around singing Christmas carols and playing.  They're cracking me UP!    I love the sheer excitement they have :) 

Alright....I promised a layout, right?  I'll be back after our vacation with plenty of photos to share as well!

Have I already mentioned how much I loved this Studio AE set??  This layout is about the reality of being a mom...sometimes it isn't easy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.  Sometimes I struggle and I doubt myself and my decisions.  But the love I have for them?  There is nothing else like it.

This set couldn't have been more perfect for me this month.  I think as women we ALL struggle with trying to make sure everything is always perfect.  The house, the kids, our jobs...all of it.  I have to take a step back sometimes and tell myself that it's ok NOT to be perfect.  The house doesn't have to be immaculate.  I don't have to cook a five course meal every night.  I might not get a shower one day of the week..and it's OK.  The kids are LOVED and FINE and HAPPY.  That's what is important.
